Energy efficiency in the suburbs

In the period 2020-2022, Chisinau City Hall financed energy efficiency projects including in the suburbs of the Capital. The money allocated was used to insulate the buildings of several kindergartens, primary schools, gymnasiums and high schools in the suburbs. 

The investment also involved other related works, with a total value of over 20 million lei.

Thus:

- In Bacioi commune, the buildings of kindergartens no. 101, no. 140 and no. 171 were insulated.
- Also, in Bacioi commune, gymnasium no. 102 was insulated, also with the support of the municipal budget. In addition to the thermal insulation of the building, the roof was changed. The municipality has allocated 1.42 million lei for these works.
- In Braila, the construction of the 45th kindergarten, which is energy efficient, is nearing completion. The total investment in these kindergartens amounted to 11 million lei and also involved the construction of an annex, repair work on the roof, groups, staircases and landscaping.
- At kindergarten no. 24 "Izvoras" in Colonita, the building was insulated and the groups, corridors and assembly hall were repaired, an annex was built and the grounds were landscaped. The total investment was 4.5 million lei.
- In Cruzesti, the building of the educational complex Gymnasium - Kindergarten was insulated. Municipal investments in the total project of reorganization of the institution, which included the arrangement of the kindergarten groups and the reorganization of classrooms, amounted to 750 thousand lei.
- 300 thousand lei were allocated for the thermal insulation and repair of the facade of the Gymnasium no.65 in Condrita, where 70 pupils attend school.
- 880 thousand lei were allocated for the thermal insulation of the canteen in the first block of the Theoretical Lyceum "Gratiesti" were 500 thousands pupils attend school.
- For the thermal insulation and restoration works of the building of the Theoretical Lyceum "Stefan Voda" in the town Vadul lui Voda, were invested 2 million. The school has two study blocks, each with three floors, in which more than 360 pupils study.
