New Projects
In "Valea Morilor" Park, near the "Green Theater," Chișinău City Hall has completed a project to install a new playground complex for children.
Throughout the entire length of the street, damaged road sections were repaired through extensive milling and the application of new asphalt layers.
Project to rehabilitate and modernize the sidewalk on Dacia Boulevard, Botanica sector, on the section between Independenței and Valea Crucii streets, on the even-numbered side.
The Chișinău City Hall has installed 3 complexes with 12 swings in "La Izvor" Park, located in the Buiucani sector. Two of them are situated on the lakeside beach, while one is located at the central entrance of the park, near the fountain area.
In June 2023, a new service was launched in the city of Chisinau: the Day Center for Children and Families. This initiative was included in the Memorandum of Understanding between the Chisinau City Hall and UNICEF Moldova, which aims to provide technical assistance to ensure the rights of children and adolescents in the city of Chisinau.
For the first time, the Chișinău Municipal Council organized the "Chișinău Sports Festival - 2023" in June 2023. The municipality successfully brought together all types of sports practiced in the Republic of Moldova under one umbrella, at "La Izvor" Park, Buiucani sector, a green area with highly developed sports infrastructure.
10 Ganz Solaris Trollino articulated trolleybuses were purchased by Chișinău City Hall in 2023. The transport units were procured from Switzerland and have a length of 18 meters.
In July 2023, a new layer of asphalt was applied on Mircea cel Batran Boulevard, in the area between A. Russo Street and P. Zadnipru Street. Comprehensive interventions have not been carried out on the main boulevard in the Ciocana sector for over 20 years.
With an investment of 8.8 million lei from the budget of Chisinau Municipality, a modern multifunctional center has been created, featuring a sports hall, changing rooms, showers, and storage spaces for sports equipment.

Within the Chișinău City Center Youth Center, a Media Hub has been set up, equipped with video cameras, podcasting equipment, necessary furniture, microphones, filming decorations, and everything needed for on-location filming.
The sidewalk and roadway on Valea Trandafirilor Street, between the "Holy Great Martyr Theodore Tyro" Monastery and the entrance to "Valea Trandafirilor" Park, have undergone rehabilitation works.
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) department at the Chisinau City Children's Hospital No. 1, located on S. Lazo Street, has undergone a complete renovation and has been equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment.
16 "Solaris Urbino 18" articulated buses, which were procured by the Chisinau City Hall at the end of 2022, have been added to the Urban Bus Fleet in June 2023, completing it.

The Chișinău City Hall, in partnership with UNICEF Moldova and the Embassy of France, inaugurated a new social service in July 2023: the "Mother-Child Placement Center for couples with children aged 6 and above." This center will provide shelter and specialized assistance for mothers and children in need of protection and safety.
90% of the total investment amount for the kindergarten's construction was allocated by the Chisinau City Hall, which amounts to 45 million lei. The total project cost was 54.8 million lei. An investment of 5.8 million lei was made by the Sîngera City Hall, the Government of Romania contributed 3 million lei, and the Turkish agency TIKA contributed 1 million lei.
The rehabilitation of the "Heroes' Cemetery" complex is underway. The project aims to restore and enhance this significant memorial site, honoring the heroes who have sacrificed their lives for their country.
6 new side-loading vehicles, ATRIKOD model on MAN chassis, were acquired as part of the "Solid Waste of Chisinau" project, funded by the Chisinau City Hall and international investors, and are included in the waste collection process in the city.
