Compensation for transport services

Persons with severe disabilities, children with disabilities and persons with locomotor disabilities receive a monetary payment for compensation of expenses for transport services.

In the period 2020-2022, the territorial structures of social assistance have established and paid compensation for about 65 318 beneficiaries.

The compensation payments are paid quarterly in different amounts, corresponding to the category of beneficiaries.

The expenses amounted to 64 011 400 lei and made from the account of special-purpose transfers from the state budget.
