Social Cash Support Program

968 persons/families in difficult situations, were supported in the period 2020-2021, by granting monetary support.

The monetary support aims to support disadvantaged persons/families to overcome situations of difficulty, as well as to prevent their social exclusion and institutionalization, based on identified needs.

The benefit is granted expressly for the repair/construction of the stove, adaptation of the dwelling to the needs of the disadvantaged family/person, procurement of fuel for the preparation of food and for heating in the cold season, procurement of furniture adapted to the needs.

In 2020-2021, the Municipal Commission for the Protection of Persons in Need decided to grant material support to 968 persons, in the total amount of 5 048 900 lei.

The expenditure was made from the account of earmarked transfers from the Population Support Fund.

2020 - 462 persons/families, in the amount of 2 332 900 lei;
2021 - 506 persons/families, in the amount of 2 716 000 lei;
2022-2023 - 0 (the Service was not funded).
