Material aid towards the Easter holidays

Every year, the Chisinau City Hall carries out a program for financial support of some categories of population for Easter holidays.

More than 3000 people annually receive one-off material aid of 500 lei for the holiday meal, based on the decisions of the Municipal Commission for establishing and granting material aid.

Among the categories of beneficiaries are:

- elderly, lonely people;
- visually impaired, hearing-impaired people;
- participants in combat actions;
- former inmates of fascist concentration camps "GHETTO".

In addition, about 30 thousand pensioners and disabled people whose pensions do not exceed 1450 lei received additional financial support of 100 lei.

In the period 2020-2023, from the budget of the Chisinau City Hall, material support in the amount of 12 033 100 lei was granted.
