Mayor's Cup Table Tennis

Every year, in the sports hall of the State University of Moldova is held the Open Cup of the Mayor General of the Chisinau municipality for table tennis (veterans, seniors, juniors, cadets and children).

The competitions are attended by athletes (female/male) from sports schools, Municipal Boarding Lyceum with Sports Profile, Theoretical Lyceum with Sports Profile No. 2, Theoretical Lyceum with Sports Profile "Gloria", sports associations and clubs from the municipality of Chisinau that practice table tennis, as well as athletes from other localities of the Republic of Moldova.

At the 2022 edition of the competition, 180 athletes participated in different categories including refugees from Ukraine as follows:

- Children 2011 - 2013;
- Cadets 2009 and younger;
- Juniors 2004 - 2008;
- Seniors 2003 - 39 years;
- Veterans 40 - 49 years;
- 50-59 years;
- 60 years and older.

The competition is organized by the Chisinau City Hall in collaboration with the Chisinau Table Tennis Federation and the Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova.
