Music Theory and Solfege "Eugen Doga"

The "Eugen Doga" Municipal Music Theory and Solfeggio Competition was initiated in the context of the declaration of 2022 as the "Eugen Doga" Cultural Year.

The competition is organized annually around Easter. Its purpose is to identify and encourage young talents in the fields of music theory and solfege.

To participate in the competition, students must have knowledge according to the curriculum of extracurricular education in the subjects of Music Theory and Solfege:

* The varieties of the minor and major mode
* The harmony of sounds
* The tonal scale, and others.

The competition provides for the participation of students of Music and Arts Schools from the municipality of Chisinau.
