Removal of billboards in the city
Description
1386 billboards and advertising devices were removed from the Capital's districts between 2019 and May 2023.
Thus, during the mentioned period, from the streets of Chisinau municipality were dismantled and evacuated:
Buiucani sector - 130 advertising billboards
Ciocana sector - 389 advertising billboards
Centre sector - 157 advertising billboards
Botanica sector - 428 advertising billboards
Riscani sector - 282 advertising billboards.
We would like to remind you that in 2020, Chisinau City Hall developed the Regulation on the placement and authorization of advertising and display means in Chisinau municipality.
The document establishes new norms, rules, requirements, demands and restrictions for the design, preparation and coordination of project documentation for the authorization, construction, installation (mounting, dismantling) and operation of advertising and display media.
The regulation has not yet been approved by the Chisinau Municipal Council.
