Description

The Intensive Care and Resuscitation Unit of the Municipal Children's Clinical Hospital No. 1 on S. Lazo Street has undergone major renovations and has been equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment.

The unit meets modern standards and is equipped with the latest ventilation and fire protection systems. Each bed in the ICU ward is provided with a centralized system for medical gases, oxygen, compressed air, and suction for respiratory secretions. The medical facility is capable of providing medical care according to both national and international standards.

Additionally, the institution’s meeting room was recently renovated.

For this project, Chișinău City Hall allocated 3,734,000 lei.

Annually, the institution handles up to 10,000 cases, with 6,000 hospital admissions, of which approximately 500 children receive treatment in the ICU.
