A new waiting station on Bogdan Voievod street

A new public transport waiting station has been installed on Bogdan Voievod street in the Rîșcani sector. It is a double pavilion that has already been connected to the public lighting network, ensuring maximum comfort for passengers.

This comes after the original station was dismantled to install a pedestrian traffic light, improving pedestrian crossings.

To enhance pedestrian safety at the busy intersection, the municipality installed the pedestrian traffic light, a protective barrier, relocated the public transport station, lowered the curbs to road level, and repaired the sidewalk.

These measures were implemented by the municipality to increase pedestrian safety at the intersection.

Additionally, the new pedestrian traffic light facilitates traffic flow at the roundabout intersection of four major streets: Kiev Street, Moscow Boulevard, Alecu Russo Street, and Bogdan Voievod Street.

The goal of these actions is to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion.
