22 public institutions undergo thermal rehabilitation

22 municipal public institutions, 14 high schools, 5 kindergartens, and 3 hospitals have been rehabilitated as part of the "Energy Efficiency and Thermal Rehabilitation of Buildings in Chisinau Municipality" Project.

The total area of the institutions is over 180,000 square meters, and the number of final beneficiaries of the project amounts to approximately 35,000 people annually.

These objectives have been achieved through a comprehensive set of measures, such as wall insulation, basement insulation, roof insulation, replacement of old windows and doors, modernization of heating points and district heating networks, installation of LED lighting, installation of photovoltaic systems and ventilation, as well as asbestos removal.

The total budget of the project is 25 million Euros.
