Upgrading the traffic lights
Description
The new traffic lights are equipped with LED lights, timers, sensor call buttons, and auditory signals upon activation, and one of the supporting pillars has been replaced.
Since the beginning of 2024, major works on the traffic light network have been carried out on Voluntarilor Street, where a pedestrian signal was rebuilt, on Bogdan Voievod Street, where a new pedestrian traffic light system was installed, and at the intersection of Socoleni Street - Calea Orheiului, where the signal poles were replaced, light fixtures were changed, and the underground cable network supplying them was repositioned.
Additionally, at two pedestrian crossings on Muncesti Boulevard, traffic lights with intermittent yellow signals have been installed, along with additional lighting.
