REHABILITATION OF PEDESTRIAN INFRASTRUCTURE IN CENTRU DISTRICT
Description
Throughout 2024, the Chișinău City Hall successfully completed six projects for the rehabilitation and modernization of pedestrian infrastructure in the Centru district of the capital.
The projects included:
▪️Renovation of the sidewalk on Mihail Kogălniceanu Street (odd-numbered side);
▪️Renovation of the sidewalk on Mihai Eminescu Street (even-numbered side);
▪️Renovation of the sidewalk on Miorița Street (between numbers 1-11);
▪️Renovation of the sidewalk on Gheorghe Cașu Street (both sides);
▪️Renovation of the sidewalk on Drumul Viilor Street;
▪️Renovation of pedestrian access to the public space at the intersection of Gheorghe Asachi and Academiei Streets.
The projects involved paving the sidewalks, creating access ramps, installing warning and guiding paving, constructing parking spaces, reconstructing courtyard entrances, installing a modern public lighting system, urban furniture, and rehabilitating green spaces.
