"A Day Without Cars" is an event organized by the Chișinău City Hall as part of the "European Mobility Week," aimed at promoting the use of public and sustainable transport.

The goal is to raise awareness among residents about the benefits of an eco-friendly lifestyle by reducing personal car usage and encouraging environmentally friendly alternatives.

The event takes place in a central area of the city where car traffic is restricted, giving participants the opportunity to safely explore the urban space on foot or by using alternative transportation, such as bicycles or electric scooters.

The program includes educational and recreational activities designed to highlight the importance of sustainable transport for personal health and the environment.

"A Day Without Cars" is part of a broader effort to promote green mobility in Chișinău and create a healthier and more environmentally friendly city for all its residents.
