SIDEWALK ON KOGĂLNICEANU STREET (ODD SIDE)
Description
The Chișinău City Hall informs that Mihail Kogălniceanu Street, an important artery of Chișinău's historic center, is undergoing a radical transformation.
The rehabilitation works on the sidewalks on the odd side of the street, between A. Pușkin and M. Eminescu streets, have already been completed.
Specifically, the following works were carried out: ▪️Removal of existing sidewalk sections
▪️Installation of curbs
▪️Creation of green space boxes
▪️Surface reinforcement with granular material
▪️Compaction with a layer of sand
▪️Installation of three-color paving to demarcate zones
▪️Installation of tactile paving for the visually impaired
This rehabilitation and modernization project for the urban infrastructure in the historic center of the capital includes the renovation of pedestrian accesses on five streets, namely: Alexei Mateevici, Mihail Kogălniceanu, Mihai Eminescu, Vlaicu Pârcălab, and Maria Cebotari.
