1.5 BILLION LEI FOR URBAN INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT
Description
The "Urban Infrastructure Development of Chișinău" project focuses on the expansion and modernization of three main arteries:
➖ Mircea cel Bătrân Boulevard;
➖ Industrială Street;
➖ Mesager Street.
The aim of this project is to create the necessary infrastructure to support urban, industrial, and economic development plans, as well as to promote sustainable mobility, thereby reducing congestion and improving the quality of life in the capital.
This is likely the largest urban project in the Republic of Moldova, especially for Chișinău, and it aims to address and provide many solutions needed by the municipality. The project targets roads that will help decongest urban traffic, ensure connections to developing or future development zones, and offer modern solutions for the Republic of Moldova and Chișinău in line with European and international quality standards.
The plan includes Mesager Street, the extension of Mircea cel Bătrân Boulevard to Bucovina Street, and solutions for Industrială Street. This long-awaited project, valued at a minimum of €57 million, is a significant investment for the municipality and the residents of Chișinău.
