REHABILITATION WORKS – HÎNCEȘTI ROAD
Description
On Hîncești Highway, in the Moldova 1 Television area, on the section between Lech Kaczyński Street and Miorița Street, the carriageway was rehabilitated and the sidewalk curbs were replaced.
In this area, no road infrastructure rehabilitation works had been carried out since the road was put into operation. Further works will be carried out in front of Radio Moldova, where utility networks need to be replaced.
At the same time, Slurry Seal treatment was applied on Miorița Street, which will ensure a longer service life of the road surface.
Additionally, the roadway on Hîncești Highway, on both sides, was asphalted on the section from Sihastrului Street to Miorița Street.
The concrete road section on Hîncești Highway, between Sihastrului Street and the entrance to the city of Ialoveni, was also rehabilitated. This section has a length of 3.4 km and 8 traffic lanes and represents the main connection between Chișinău and the southern part of the country.
The works included milling of the roadway, repair of damaged concrete slabs, sealing of cracks, and the application of road markings.
