PANORAMIC SQUARE ON MARIA DRAGAN STREET

The panoramic square on Maria Drăgan Street, Ciocana sector, was initially developed in 2019. Due to landslides that occurred in the adjacent area, its rehabilitation became necessary in 2025.

The works included the construction of a retaining wall to stabilize the slope, as well as the installation of geogrids designed to ensure the durability of the intervention and protect the hillside, making the area safe and stable.

Subsequently, the pavement of the walkways was replaced, urban furniture for relaxation was installed, and green spaces were rehabilitated. In addition, two outdoor fitness/workout areas were arranged for open-air training.

At present, the square offers a spectacular panoramic view of the city of Chișinău, enhanced by the panoramic binoculars installed on site. The area has become a popular place for walks, especially in the evening.
