TRAFFIC LIGHTS ON MIORIȚA STREET
Description
The new traffic light system has been activated and connected to the city's automated traffic management and control system.
The interventions included a full modernization of the existing infrastructure:
▪️ Installation of 16 LED traffic lights for vehicles, equipped with timers
▪️ Installation of 10 LED pedestrian lights, also with timers
▪️ Laying 850 meters of electric and signal cable
▪️ Replacement of poles, traffic light bodies, and controllers with modern equipment
In the near future, the system will be supplemented with audible signals for pedestrian lights, to improve accessibility and safety for people with visual impairments.
