Tourist Map of Chișinău — in AR 3D Technology

The project “Tourist Map of Chișinău in AR 3D Technology” is an innovative initiative that combines the classic tourist guide with modern digital technologies. Its main goal is to promote the cultural and tourist heritage of the capital through an interactive, modern experience accessible to all visitors.
The map includes two essential components:
The printed part, presenting locations, landmarks, iconic buildings, and major tourist attractions in Chișinău.
The digital part, activated via Augmented Reality (AR) technology, giving users access to 3D models of the 10 most significant historical sites, enhanced with English audio guides and promotional video materials.
This combination brings the city’s heritage closer to the public, turning a simple visit into an interactive, educational, and engaging experience.
It is one of the first initiatives merging a printed tourist map with AR technology and innovative digital content.
