In recent years, the Chișinău City Hall has developed a complete network of infrastructure and programs for young people, making this field a priority.
????The youth budget in 2019 was 200,000 lei; in 2025, the budget for young people reached 60 million lei. Thus, the youth budget has increased 30 times in the last 5 years:
▪️2019 – 200 thousand lei
▪️2020 – 3,226 thousand lei
▪️2021 – 3,450 thousand lei
▪️2022 – 8,350 thousand lei
▪️2023/2024/2025 – 60 million lei
???? The Municipal Youth Centers Network includes 5 modern centers in the capital’s districts:
▪️ Ciocana – 3/2 Petru Zadnipru St.
▪️ Buiucani – 3 Ghidighici St., “La Izvor” Park
▪️ Rîșcani – 7B Miron Costin St.
▪️ Centru – 90 Varlaam St.
▪️ Botanica – 37/1 Dacia Blvd.
Services and programs offered:

• Interest clubs and creative workshops
• Civic engagement and volunteering programs
• Cultural and educational events dedicated to young people
???? Municipal Grant Program for Youth Organizations:

▪️2025 – 2.5 million lei
???? Municipal Grant Program for Youth Initiative Groups:
▪️2024 – 200 thousand lei

???? Municipal Grant Program for Student Councils:

???? Municipal Grant Program for Student Self-Governments:

???? Co-financing Program for Youth Organizations:

???? With UNICEF Moldova’s support, a vehicle worth 635,000 lei was purchased for the mobile youth team, which travels to districts and suburbs to inform young people about available opportunities.
???? The Youth Centers Network in the suburbs has also been strengthened: Grătiești, Ciorescu, Cricova, Sîngera, Trușeni.
???? 2023 was declared the YEAR OF YOUTH IN CHIȘINĂU.
???? The first Youth Strategy for Chișinău Municipality was approved.
???? The Municipal Start-up Program for Youth was launched.
???? The first municipal business incubator for youth was launched.
???? The first mobile app in the country for young people — “e-tineret” — was launched, providing first-hand information about opportunities for youth.
???? The first national platform for youth volunteers from the Youth Centers — “e-voluntar.md” — was launched, allowing volunteers to manage their volunteer hours.
???? The first mobile app in the country for youth — “e-Tineret” (e-tineret.md) — was launched, centralizing opportunities, resources, and programs in one place.
Chișinău is a city for young people. The municipality will continue to expand infrastructure, diversify programs, and provide conditions for every young person to realize their potential.
