Investments in Sports Infrastructure in Education (2019–2025)
Description
Chișinău City Hall has modernized in recent years sports halls, fields, stadiums, and swimming pools to ensure better conditions for physical education and sports development for students.
Sports Halls
2019–2025: 147 sports halls modernized, with a total value of 55.8 million MDL.

Fields and Stadiums
2019–2025: 77 fields and stadiums rehabilitated, with total investments of 54.5 million MDL.

Swimming Pools
Between 2019–2025, almost all swimming pools in the municipal educational network have been rehabilitated, including those within three permanent summer camps.
Growth of Investments
In 2019, investments were around 3.7 million MDL.
In 2022, they exceeded 40 million MDL.
This shows a significant increase in the City Hall’s efforts to modernize sports infrastructure.
✅ Result:
2019–2025 – 224 sports facilities modernized, with a total budget of over 110.3 million MDL.
The investments made by Chișinău City Hall provide modern conditions for movement, health, and sports education for all students in the capital.
