SEPARATE WASTE COLLECTION IN ȚÎNȚĂRENI
Description
In the village of Țînțăreni, Anenii Noi, the system for separate collection of recyclable waste has been officially launched. For the first time, the special vehicles of the municipal enterprise “Autosalubritate” collected the green containers designated for plastic, metal, paper, cardboard, aluminum cans, glass, and other materials that can be recovered.
The project is jointly implemented by Chișinău City Hall, the municipal enterprise “Autosalubritate,” and the Țînțăreni Commune Hall, based on a civil partnership agreement. The main goal is to reduce the amount of waste deposited in landfills and to promote recycling directly from households.
To support residents in the sorting process, each household received two 240-liter containers: a black one for household waste and a green one for recyclables. These were purchased by Chișinău City Hall and “Autosalubritate.” In total, 2,922 containers were distributed, and residents also received leaflets with instructions on correct sorting and the collection schedule.
