INSTALLATION OF RAISED PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS
Description
For pedestrian safety, Chișinău City Hall is installing raised pedestrian crossings on city streets.
In total, during 2025, 20 raised pedestrian crossings were arranged on the streets of the capital:

▪️4 – Liviu Deleanu St.
▪️2 – Hristo Botev St.
▪️1 – Andrei Doga St.
▪️1 – Gheorghe Asachi St.
▪️1 – Hîncești Highway
▪️1 – Drumul Viilor St.
▪️1 – Grenoble St.
▪️1 – Doina și Ion Aldea-Teodorovici St.
▪️1 – Tudor Strișcă St.
▪️1 – Doina St.
▪️1 – 80 Vadul lui Vodă St.
▪️1 – Ginta Latină St., intersection with Mihail Sadoveanu St.
An additional 25 raised pedestrian crossings were installed in previous years. Currently, Chișinău has a total of 45 raised pedestrian crossings designed to increase safety on heavily trafficked roads and in high-risk areas.
