Dairy preparations in the first year of life

Hundreds of families in Chisinau have benefited from free dairy products for feeding their babies in the last 3 years, thanks to the municipal program aimed at ensuring healthy nutrition for children in their first year of life.

In 2020 alone, about 473 infants were provided with powdered milk. Another 373 newborns benefited from the program in 2022, including refugee children from Ukraine.

In recent years, 2 million 847 thousand 800 lei have been allocated for the provision of dairy products to families with babies.
