Dental care

Over the last 3 years, about 3 thousand needy people in Chisinau have benefited from dental care provided through the municipal program "Anti-poverty - free dental care for the socially disadvantaged population".

The dental care provided under the program includes the following services: consultation of the dentist, treatment of dental diseases, dental surgery, radiological examinations of the oral cavity, dental prosthetics.

These services are available to the city's residents from vulnerable groups such as veterans, the elderly, the disabled, the hearing impaired and the visually impaired.

The cost of a service covered under the program can be up to 7 thousand lei, according to the changes in the regulation approved by municipal councilors in October 2022.

In 2020, 1,90 people from vulnerable groups benefited from dental care, with the total amount allocated by the municipal authorities for this purpose being 4 million 358 thousand 714 lei.

In 2021, another 978 patients from at-risk groups received the services of dentists covered by the program, the amount of municipal allocations for this purpose being 4 million 7 thousand 50 lei.

In 2022, 4 million 500 thousand lei were allocated from the municipal budget to provide dental care to people from vulnerable groups.
