Repair of Calea Basarabiei street

In 2021, the carriageway on Calea Basarabiei Street was repaired, the old asphalt was milled over an area of 17.7 thousand m2 and new asphalt was laid.

Rainwater catchments were cleaned and new drainage systems were installed on sections at high risk of flooding.

The intervention was strictly necessary because of the deterioration of the asphalt and drivers had to detour around the area. The junction is used mainly by heavy goods traffic going into and out of the city as a transit route.

The works cost 5.4 million lei.
