Modernization of traffic lights

Dozens of traffic light targets in Chisinau municipality have been upgraded in the last three years by M. E. REI "Lumteh".

The process has included capital repairs, by replacing pylons, traffic light bodies, controllers, underground cable or the construction of new targets in unmanned intersections.

Both pedestrian and transport traffic signals were targeted, with the majority of the new ones installed being LED.

At the same time, the traffic signal control and routing center was upgraded, with 76 modern traffic signal controllers purchased and installed in 2021-2022.

Similarly, 4 more traffic light targets have been designed and will be built at intersections where they do not exist.

The total investment in the works carried out and the purchase of equipment is 15.8 million lei.
