Cleaning up the Durlesti river

The Chisinau City Hall has financed the cleaning of the Durlesti riverbed, so that the surrounding houses will no longer be flooded.

The improvement of the Durlesti riverbed and the construction of the collector in the perimeter of Gh. Codreanu, the entrance of the CIE "MoldExpo" was carried out in June-July 2020. The project included the removal of several quantities of silt (the river had not been cleaned since the late 1980s).

The main purpose of this project was to avoid flooding of the surrounding blocks following the rains.

The Chisinau City Hall allocated financial resources amounting to 6.5 million lei for the works.
