The "George Cosbuc" square

The works took place within the framework of the trilateral project Mannheim - Chisinau - Chernivtsi "Rethinking public space. Citizens shape their future"/ „Regandirea spatiului public. Cetatenii isi modeleaza viitorul”.

The rehabilitation of the square involved:
- reconstruction of the paved pedestrian paths;
- renovation of the lawn, including automatic irrigation;
- installation of pedestrian street lighting;
- installation of street furniture;
- installation of a children's playground;
- installation of a canteen.

The cost of the works for the reconstruction of the square is about 1 million lei, of which 40% is the grant part provided by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and 60% - resources from the municipal budget.
