Startup for young people and migrants

Young entrepreneurs can apply for grants of up to 200 thousand lei, thanks to a pilot program funded by the Chisinau City Hall.

The municipal program "STARTUP for YOUNG PEOPLE AND MIGRANTS"/„STARTUP pentru TINERI SI MIGRANTI” is aimed at people between 18 and 40 years old with a residence visa in the municipality of Chisinau (even if they are temporarily abroad), as well as refugees of the same age who are business partners of people in Chisinau. Applicants must have a registered business in Chisinau or show proof of intention to open a business in the municipality.

Eligible young people can opt for non-reimbursable financial support of up to 200 thousand lei or, in the case of young people who have obtained a commercial loan, for interest compensation of up to 100 thousand lei.

Under the pilot program, priority will be given to promising businesses in several fields, including information and communication technology, electromechanics, food and HoReCa, light industry, tourism, health and beauty, energy efficiency and agriculture.

The aim of the Program is to encourage entrepreneurship among young people and migrants in Chisinau by facilitating the launch and development of sustainable businesses and supporting job creation.
