Municipal Council of Students

The Council is composed of 51 students from Chisinau municipality. They represent the interests of their peers from 25 gymnasiums and 26 high schools.

Around 100 students from 63 educational institutions have sent in their applications for the Municipal Council of Students. Of these, 51 received their councillor cards on 10 February 2022.

Their responsibility is to make the voice of the 96,000 pupils attending gymnasiums and high schools in Chisinau heard.

The municipal authorities and the Municipal Council of Pupils have agreed to hold enlarged meetings together every three months to discuss the proposals received from pupils.
