The underground passage from Sos. Hîncești178/1

The underpass in sos. Hîncești 178/1, sector Centru, was never repaired and was in a deplorable state. This is the subway in the area of the terminus of trolleybus No 9, the exit from the city to Ialoveni.

The work began with landscaping the area around the subway to seal off the section of road underneath the passage and prevent rainwater from entering and damaging the walls and foundations.

Subsequently, the accesses were repaired, awnings installed, stairs rehabilitated and handrails installed, as well as an access ramp for people with special needs. Inside the passage, the ceiling and walls were rehabilitated with the application of terracotta, public lighting was upgraded and a video surveillance system was installed.
