Repair of educational institutions, Riscani

Considerable investments have been made in the last three years by the Chisinau City Hall for current, general or capital repair works of blocks or rooms of educational institutions in the Riscani sector of the Capital.

More than 60 million lei have been allocated for the rehabilitation of 24 institutions in the sector. 

For the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" Lyceum alone, more than 18 million lei have been allocated for the construction of the sports and festivities block, capital repairs to some rooms, library repairs and landscaping. 

For the "Mihail Lomonosov" Lyceum, the municipality co-financed the repair works for the expansion of the institution, so that it now has 4 kindergarten groups with a capacity of 100 children.  "Natalia Gheorghiu" and "George Calinescu" high schools have had their roofs, heating systems and electrical networks repaired.

The roofs were also repaired at the "Ion Creanga" and " Stefan cel Mare" lyceums, as well as at the "Lucian Blaga" lyceum, where the sanitary blocks were also rehabilitated, and at the auxiliary school no. 6 the façade and the sports field were rehabilitated. 

As needed, current and general repairs to classrooms, sports and festival halls, heating system, food and sanitary blocks, as well as other works, were carried out at the following institutions:

- "Ioan Luca Caragiale" Gymnasium, Miron Costin 19/7
- "Matei Basarab" Lyceum, Matei Basarab 14
- "Mihail Kogalniceanu" Lyceum, Miron Costin 3
- "Nicolae Balcescu" Lyceum, Alexandru Cel Bun 2
- Water Polo Sports School no. 4, Miron Costin 24/1
- CPPC "Orfeu", Hasdeu 4 - CAE "Curcubeu", Branistii 5.
