Description

One of the Capital's largest underpasses is under repair in early 2023. It is the subway at the intersection of Ismail St. and bd. Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt, Centru sector.


Located in the city center, close to the Central Market and the Central Bus Station, as well as a number of shopping centers, the passage is crossed daily by a massive flow of people.


At the initial stage, access to the interior of the underground is being rehabilitated, stairs repaired, railings installed and ramps for people with special needs installed. Terracotta is also being applied to the walls of the entrances.


Later the underground passage will be repaired inside.
