Rehabilitation of the underground in blvd. Iuri Gagarin

The underpass in blvd. Iuri Gagarin, near the railway station, Centre sector, is in a very busy area. In 2023, repair work began on the underground access.

Work is being done on the reconstruction of the stairs, with the installation of handrails, rehabilitation of the walls and access for people with special needs.

Over the last three years, Chisinau City Hall has managed to repair most of the underground passages in the capital.

Some of them were in an unhealthy state and even dangerous for the safety of citizens.
