Development of the Grenoble Street square

The green space, where until 2023 there was nothing, has become a recreation area for nearby residents, including students from the „Nicolae Sulac” Theoretical High School with an Arts Profile and patients from the Oncological Hospital.

The rehabilitation works included:

-Installation of the lighting system;

-Paving of pathways;

-Installation of new curbs;

-Installation of cables for the video system;

-Arrangement of parking spaces;

-Installation of urban furniture;

-Asphalt paving of the access to the „Nicolae Sulac” Theoretical High School with an Arts Profile;

-Relocation of the public transport waiting station from near the Oncological Institute and asphalt paving of the surrounding sidewalk;

-Installation of a fitness area;

-Installation of a ping pong table;

-Establishment of a playground for children.

Additionally, during the landscaping works, booths and tire repair shops located in the stations, on the green space, and sidewalks around the square were removed.
