Repair works, MCH no.4

Capital repair works of the Palliative Care Unit within Municipal Hospital No. 4 are nearing completion, with only the installation of medical-grade flooring remaining.

Soon, patients, their relatives, and medical staff will benefit from modern conditions aligned with the highest healthcare standards.

The hospital serves annually:

• around 1,200 severely ill patients receiving palliative care;

• over 650 geriatric patients, aged over 65 and suffering from multiple comorbidities;

• thanks to the expansion works of the Unit, the capacity will increase from 35 to 60 beds.

The total investment amounts to about 8 million lei (6 million for interior repairs and 2 million for façade renovation) and aims to ensure:

• modern conditions adapted to current medical standards;

• a safer and more humane environment for patients and their families;

• support for the most vulnerable segment of society — elderly people with incurable diseases.
