"Emergency response to COVID-19"

The program "Emergency response to COVID-19" was vital for the modernization of public medical institutions in Chisinau.

Within the framework of this project, important works were carried out at the Intensive Care Unit, block E of the Municipal Clinical Hospital "Gh. Paladi". The capital repair of this unit has increased the capacity to treat critical patients with COVID-19.

The program also included the modernization of the Intensive Care Unit of the "Sf. Treime" Hospital. By fully equipping this ward with modern equipment, doctors and medical staff have been able to provide better care to critical patients.

These two important interventions were made possible thanks to funding from the World Bank and other partners. The project was implemented from 2020-2023 and involved funding of over 5.7 million lei.
