The "Tranzy" travel app
Description
The Tranzy app has been launched for public transport in the Chisinau municipality, allowing to find out the arrival time of transport at the station. The application can be downloaded by any beneficiary who has a phone at hand.
The system is available on IOS and Android mobile application and allows real-time monitoring of the movement of transport units on the network and identification of routes according to the selected station directly on the map.
As a result of the tender, contracts for the provision of GPS data acquisition services for more than 600 units, including 400 trolleybuses and 210 buses, were concluded with the winning company Arobs Trackgps SRL for the amount of 3,300 thousand lei for a period of 24 months.
The services "Tranzy AI" worth approx. 15,000 euro for a period of one year have also been purchased for the development of live maps and their integration into dedicated websites, through which it is possible to visualize turn-by-turn transport lines, the position of each vehicle on the route and other useful details for customers. It should be noted that the urban mobility platform offered by Tranzy.ai and the Tranzy App for citizens has been made available free of charge to the Chisinau City Hall for a period of 6 years.
The Tranzy App is available in 4 languages: Romanian, Russian, English and Ukrainian.
