Liquidation of garbage chutes from the stairs of blocks
Description
The main objective of this program was to improve the urban environment by replacing old and unsanitary garbage dumps in the stairwells of apartment blocks with modern modular platforms for selective waste collection.
In the period 2020-2022, 165 modular platforms have been installed at 111 addresses in Chisinau for the collection of household waste in two fractions - biodegradable and recyclable.
At the same time, garbage tubes were closed at 377 rooms in 179 apartment blocks. The investment in this project over three years has been significant, amounting to 13,507,360 lei.
