Rehabilitation of the School of Arts "Valery Poleakov"

Between 2019 and 2025, various renovation and modernization works were carried out at the institution. Investments targeted both the functional and aesthetic aspects of the school, aiming to provide students, teachers, and visitors with a safe, accessible, and attractive environment.

The modernization project included the complete rehabilitation of the access stairs, paving works, installation of protective railings for user safety, mounting of a new school identification sign, improvement of exterior lighting and the overall appearance of the entrance area. Classrooms, the assembly hall, roof, lobby, and sanitary facilities were renovated. Photovoltaic panels and PVC structures were installed.

Old doors and windows were replaced, chairs were renewed, electrical, heating, and ventilation networks were repaired. The institution was equipped with video surveillance systems and air conditioning units. At the same time, the technical and material base was upgraded with modern equipment, and new musical instruments were purchased to replace outdated ones that had not been changed for many years.

In recent years, for the first time, the municipality decided to cover the costs for children from Schools of Arts to participate in international competitions. Students represented the country in Bulgaria, Poland, Turkey, and Romania. For example, at the “Caleidoscop Talentov” competition in Poland, they achieved top-ranking positions.

Municipal competitions are also organized in all artistic fields — visual arts, painting, and music — giving children opportunities to showcase their talents and rewarding them with monetary prizes.
