Construction works of "Apa-Canal" barrages

In order to ensure the functionality of the water intake for the water supply of the city of Chisinau at the minimum flow rates of the Nistru River, in 2020 the construction of semi-submerged dams made of prefabricated gabions, the consolidation of banks and the removal of deposits from underwater constructions were initiated.

The work is still ongoing and the object is already operational.

The value of the works is about 11 million lei.
