Rehabilitation of utilities on three streets

Prior to the capital repair of the road infrastructure, extensive rehabilitation of the underground water and sewage networks has been carried out on 31 August 1989, Alexandru cel Bun and Tighina Streets in recent years as part of Package II of the "Chisinau - Drumuri Urbane" project, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (BERD), the European Investment Bank and the BERDs Special Green Energy Fund.

The financing for these works was provided by the Chisinau City Hall, which invested 105.4 million lei.

Expenditure also included design, verification, coordination, author control, connections, topographical survey and geodetic works. 

The utility rehabilitation works were aimed at preparing the road and pavements for capital repairs.
