Reinforcement of the breakwater

Within the framework of the Project for the Modernization of the Waste Management Area in Tantareni, extensive works were carried out for the consolidation of the protective embankment.

It was possible to drill 107 stabilization piles, weld the casings of the support piles, drill and concrete the boreholes with a depth of about 6-17 meters.

At the same time, the access road to site No. 2 was laid out.

The project on the consolidation works of the dam at the waste disposal site in Tantareni provides for final works on strengthening the protective embankment, stabilization of embankments, drilling of 130 support piles, installation of concrete sinks, construction of drainage, arrangement and consolidation of sidewalks, asphalting of the road on the embankment, etc.

The project was initiated in November 2020 and is financed by the Chisinau City Hall (15% of the cost of the works) in cooperation with the National Ecological Fund (85% of the investment).

The total amount of works is about 30 million lei, with 6.15 million lei spent for the first stage and about 24 million lei allocated for the second stage.
