Traffic safety measures

In order to increase traffic flow and safety, several actions have been taken by the municipal services in charge in the last three years:

- The Calea Orheiului Street - Studentilor Street - Socoleni Street intersection has been reorganized, where a new traffic lane has been built, turning from Calea Orheiului Street to Studenților Street. For this purpose 3.4 million lei have been invested.

- Three new traffic lights have been built at the intersections: Bucharest street - Vlaicu Parcalab street, I. Pelivan street - N. Costin street and bd. Dacia - Bacioii Noi str., with 4.9 million lei allocated for these works.

- 26 traffic lights were modernized, with 15.5 million lei allocated for these works.

- About 17 thousand road signs were installed and 179 thousand m² of road markings were applied. The value of these works amounts to 48.4 million lei.
