Modernization of MCH "Sfanta Treime"

The hospital has received the highest rating awarded by the National Council for Evaluation and Accreditation in Health, confirming high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism in the medical services provided. It is one of the largest hospitals in the country and the region.

In recent years, the medical institution has undergone an extensive modernization process. The hospital building has benefited from rehabilitation and energy efficiency improvements as part of a major municipal hospital modernization project initiated by Primăria Chișinău. Windows, doors, and elevators have been replaced.

New departments have been opened and existing ones renovated. A relevant example is the new Intensive Care and Resuscitation Department, which was practically built from scratch and is equipped with medical equipment and devices in accordance with international standards.
Another department inaugurated within the institution is the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department.

A new centralized surgical block has been opened within the hospital. It includes 15 operating rooms capable of functioning simultaneously, an intensive care area, and specially arranged spaces where medical staff change from street clothes into proper medical attire. The new block is equipped with a high-performance ventilation system and has three autonomous power supply sources, ensuring maximum safety conditions for patients.
This is one of the most important medical projects in Chișinău in recent years.

Primăria Chișinău is also investing in equipping the institution with modern equipment, including state-of-the-art technologies for diagnosis and treatment.

The most advanced 3T MRI scanner in the country has been installed. At the same time, a latest-generation computed tomography device has been put into operation.

Annually, more than 80,000 cases are registered at the Municipal Hospital “Sfânta Treime,” of which approximately 32,000 patients are hospitalized and treated in inpatient conditions. Additionally, around 22,000 surgical interventions are performed here each year, compared to 8,000 previously.
