Treatment plant for leachate

In 2020, a leachate treatment plant was put into operation for leachate formed from solid household waste deposited at the municipal waste dump located in Tantareni.

The leachate treatment plant has a processing capacity of 150 m3/day of liquid waste and operates on the reverse osmosis principle.

Various chemicals are used in the leachate treatment process, resulting in technical water.

The new liquid waste treatment equipment reduces pollution indices, thus minimizing environmental impact.

The total cost of the project is about 29 million lei, of which 11.8 million lei is leachate treatment equipment and 14.8 million lei is the construction of the plant infrastructure.
