Construction of a multifunctional pavilion

In February 2022, the Association of Community Active for Participative Democracy submitted a project through the Chișinău Civil Budget Program for the development of a multifunctional pavilion in Calea Orheiului Park.

The voting procedure took place between April 11th and May 1st, 2022.

The project obtained 45.56% of the votes cast by the residents, being selected for implementation and funding.

The Chișinău City Hall, through the Program, allocated funding in the amount of 130,000 lei for the construction of this pavilion.

As the inflation rate reached 30% in 2022, it significantly impacted the total implementation cost of the project. However, the efforts and commitment of the responsible authorities and the association led to finding adequate solutions to manage this situation, and the project was implemented.

The pavilion, built of wood and without walls and roof, will serve as a community center in the Poșta Veche neighborhood, offering an opportunity for the development of an urban gardening project and community organization through urban gardening.

This initiative aims to create a public platform dedicated to socializing and recreation, with a positive impact on the community.
