Repair works, Maternity Hospital No. 2

The City Hall has allocated 2 633 600 lei to improve the capacities of the Municipal Maternity Ward No. 2 by purchasing modern medical equipment and machinery.

In 2020, a total amount of 1 292 300 lei has been allocated to pay off the 2019 debt for the facade repair. Similarly these funds were directed for design services of a new sewerage network and the repair of the sewerage network itself.

Likewise in 2020, the city allocated an amount of 954 400 lei for the purchase of essential medical equipment, including:

- a plasma defrosting machine,
- an Ozon generator,
- a fetal doppler,
- medical cabinets with drawers,
- infusion stand.

In 2021, a total amount of 167 100 thousand lei was allocated for repair works on the roof of the Municipal Maternity Ward No. 2.

In 2022, the City Hall allocated an amount of 219 800 lei for the purchase of a means of transport useful for transporting medical staff.

In 2023 the maternity ward was provided with an ambulance - an important health transport that it lacked.

The investments of the City Hall for equipment, machinery and repair works at Maternity Hospital No. 2 amount to 2.6 million lei.
